The hotel had a lovely, nice-sized room with a comfy bed and great view. However, it was very hot and humid with no temperature control and only a small window at the back without much of a view. There were also some stains on the wallpaper.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room I stayed in was huge, spotless, and exactly as I had requested - quiet on the 4th floor facing south. It was perfect for the birthday event I was celebrating. However, I did find the room to be a bit too hot, almost like a sauna, even with the radiator off.

I didn't expect much after a terrible experience at the previous hotel, but this one surprised me with its great value for the discounted room rate. The staff from the restaurant to the lounge bar were amazing, although the location at the back of the hotel was a bit dull with low-energy lighting.

7.2/10
I was really pleased with my stay at the hotel. The location was fantastic, ideal for exploring Plymouth, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, although there were a few signs of wear and tear that could do with attention. The dining experience was a mixed bag, with limited fresh options, but the budget-style meals were acceptable. The hotel facilities were sufficient, and the price was just right for the value received.
Rooms
7.0
My room was very clean and comfortable, but there were some areas that showed signs of dampness and wear. The 'superior' twin room didn't quite meet my expectations, especially with the shower's temperature control issues.
Service
7.0
The service was a bit of a hit and miss - very understanding when I needed help with my disability-related items, but refused to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs. However, overall they were great during busy times and at breakfast.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location in the city center was its biggest selling point for me. It was quiet, convenient for attractions like Plymouth Pavilions and the Hoe, and within walking distance of many places of interest.
Dining

The dining options were limited but acceptable. Despite some mundane choices, the European dishes were decent. The location of the dining area was convenient for exploring the town center.
Facilities
